Part of Newcastle City Council we offer advice and assistance to private rented tenants and services to Private landlords and letting agents. We have now moved to our new location at the Civic Centre, our drop in hours have remained the smae and you can drop in and see us at the Customer Service Centre at the Civic Centre Monday to Friday from 8.30 to 12.30. Also there are some changes to the way we deliver services to landlords. From the 2 April 2012 service charges will apply. There is an annual fee to register with our service will be set at £40 for owners of one or two properties and £100 for owners of three or more properties in the Newcastle area. We are also introducing new online services which will only be available to registered landlords.
We are also establishing a Tenant Finder Service where you will be able to advertise properties on our website and through our customer service centres, reference your tenants, access tenancy agreement and access our sign up service for a charge of £40 per letting. Application and annual registration forms, including information on how you can pay for these services, will be sent out in the next few weeks and will be available online. |
